I can only be inspired and motivated by the thought of what type of freedom finances of that measure could actually provide to any single individual.
For myself, personally, I believe that I would utilize my entrepreneurial spirit to engage in many successful business ventures while continuously utilizing portions of those proceeds to perpetually give back to the world.
Basically, because the world is so diverse and at the same time disproportionately segmented, I am posting this blog to learn more about what others would do in this hypothetical situation.
Good post. I would Invest and turn it into more money
ReplyDeleteQuit College, Get a low-rent apartment in Chicago, buy Whiskey, Toilet paper, and cereal. Live everyday on my porch.
ReplyDeleteSpend some (SOME, like 1-2m tops) and then invest the rest. live off the interest for the rest of my life, and my children/grandchildren/greatgrandchildren/etc.etc.
ReplyDeleteinteresting article :) keep posting I'm following.
ReplyDeleteNice post, for sure would have a lot of spending money.
ReplyDeleteI'd buy a good computer
ReplyDeleteDo nothing but play music the rest of my life
ReplyDeleteI'd spend it all on music and bottlecaps candy
ReplyDeleteI'd buy a Ford Mustang GT 68 Fastback,
ReplyDeleteor a convertible, cream leather seats.
Or just both!
I would invest until I had enough to live comfortably for the rest of my life.
ReplyDeletegreat!
ReplyDeleteI would put most of it in the bank and then travel around the world. I'd tell only my closest few friends, probably because I'd bring them with me. I'd buy my parents a house, pay for my sister's college, eventually go to four year college myself, and just generally do whatever the fuck I want, because with enough money to buy my way out of any trouble I would have the confidence of a god.
ReplyDeletei would start my own business. hot rod shop/burger joint and work there for the rest of my life
ReplyDeleteI would give it away to poor people.
ReplyDeleteWhatever I wanted! No really, buy property for myself in a few counties like Spain, American go on a life vacation!
ReplyDeleteI'd donate it to science research, most likely.
ReplyDeleteGet everything I need to be comfortable, invest the rest
ReplyDeleteDunno really. Maybe buy a reclusive property somewhere in south east Asia, or something like that. No way I would be able to spend a hundred million dollars, not that I would want to either.
ReplyDeleteWith one hundred million dollars i would buy a submarine and live the life that Captain Nemo lives in twenty thousand leagues under the sea. Would be flippin sweet.
